Overview
DODO COMMAND (DC-100) is a field controller for switching irrigation valves, pumps, contactors and lighting over a single RS-485 Modbus-RTU line. It drives Waveshare Modbus RTU Relay modules of 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 channels, so one controller covers anything from a two-valve garden line to a 32-zone farm.
The unit is controlled from two places at once: the DODOTiK Platform in any web browser, and the DODOLINK app on iOS and Android. Both give the same two things - manual switching of any channel, and timing: schedules that turn each channel on and off by themselves.
Crucially, those schedules are stored inside the device, not in the cloud. DODO COMMAND evaluates its own timers against its own real-time clock, so irrigation keeps running exactly on schedule when the internet is down - through an outage, an expired SIM, or a site that never had coverage. When the link returns, the device reports its true state and re-syncs. Online for control and visibility; offline for reliability.
DC-100 is a controller, not a relay board. The switching hardware - and its mains wiring - stays in its own enclosure, sized to the job and ordered separately, which is what lets the same controller serve a two-valve line and a thirty-two-zone farm.

Switch it from a browser or a phone — and it keeps its schedule when neither can reach it
Schedules live inside the device, not in the cloud. DODO COMMAND evaluates its own timers against its own real-time clock, so irrigation runs exactly on schedule through an outage, an expired SIM, or at a site that never had coverage.
DODOTiK Platform
Manual switching of any channel and full scheduling from any web browser, with live state and history.
DODOLINK app
The same control and timing on iOS and Android — open a valve from the field, not from the office.
Timers stored on the device
Once, daily, weekly and interval schedules, per channel, held in non-volatile memory — up to 32 timers.
Survives power loss
Channel states and schedules are restored on boot, so a power cut does not reset the irrigation plan.
Works with no internet
A local test interface verifies wiring from a phone at the panel. No gateway, no cloud required.
DODO COMMAND is a controller, not a relay board. It drives a Waveshare Modbus RTU relay module of 2 to 32 channels over RS-485 — ordered separately and sized to the job, which is what lets one controller serve a two-valve line or a 32-zone farm. The 16 A @ 250 VAC contact rating belongs to that module, not to DC-100.
Applications
Smart irrigation - valve and zone control for fields, orchards and greenhouses
Pump and booster control - scheduled and remote start/stop
Water reservoir and tank fill management
Lighting and climate equipment in agricultural buildings
Remote switching at sites with intermittent or absent internet
Any installation where a schedule must keep running when the network does not
Before you specify it
Limits worth knowing before the order goes in, rather than after the sensor is in the ground.
- DC-100 is a controller, not a relay board. The Waveshare Modbus RTU relay module, the power supply and the RS-485 cable are not included and are ordered separately.
- The 16 A @ 250 VAC contact rating belongs to the Waveshare relay module, not to DC-100. Confirm it against the module actually fitted.
- Size the relay module to the number of zones with headroom - 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 channels. One DODO COMMAND drives one module, up to 32 channels total.

Frequently asked questions
Does DODO COMMAND keep irrigating if the internet goes down?
Yes, and this is the main reason it exists. Schedules are stored inside the device in non-volatile memory, not in the cloud, and DC-100 evaluates them against its own DS3231 real-time clock. Irrigation keeps running exactly on schedule through an outage, an expired SIM, or at a site that never had coverage. When the link returns the device reports its true state and re-syncs.
How many valves or zones can one DODO COMMAND control?
Up to 32 channels. DC-100 drives a Waveshare Modbus RTU Relay module over one RS-485 pair, and those modules come in 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 channel sizes. One controller drives one module, so size the module to the number of zones with some headroom.
Is the relay module included?
No. DC-100 is a controller, not a relay board - the switching hardware and its mains wiring stay in their own enclosure, sized to the job. The Waveshare Modbus RTU Relay module, the power supply and the RS-485 cable are ordered separately. The 16 A @ 250 VAC contact rating belongs to the relay module, not to DC-100.
How do I control it day to day?
From two places, with the same capabilities in both: the DODOTiK Platform in any web browser, and the DODOLINK app on iOS and Android. Both give manual switching of any channel and scheduling - once, daily, weekly and interval timers, per channel. There is also a local test interface for verifying wiring from a phone at the panel with no internet at all.
What happens if a command is sent and the link drops mid-cycle?
Use the flash action: a timed pulse that drives a channel for a set duration and then reverts by itself, set in 100 ms steps up to roughly 55 minutes. Because the device terminates the pulse locally, a dropped link cannot leave a valve open. Every command is also acknowledged with the resulting channel state and a timestamp, and the device publishes a full relay state heartbeat every 5 minutes.
How do I order DODO COMMAND, and what does it cost?
DODO COMMAND is sold direct and through distributors. Request a quote with the order code (DC-100-V2-WIFI, DC-100-V2-LORA or DC-100-V2-4G), the number of zones you need to switch and the destination country, and DODOTiK will come back with export pricing, volume tiers and lead time. Tell us the zone count and we will specify the matching relay module too.
